Kaurilan Sauna natural cosmetics, candles, and other sauna products were created in 2009 when Saara Heikkinen opened the public Kaurilan Sauna in a building over 100 years old in Helsinki.
Looking for beautifully burning candles, suitable towels, and fragrance-free soaps, Saara found that the right products were not available in stores. She began developing and testing her ideas, using her own sensitive skin as a guide and listening to the feedback of sauna guests.
